Senior Adult Ministry

“the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.” Psalm 19:7b.

BFBC Senior Adults (the west side of 55) simply refuse to act their age.  And that’s okay.  Our Seniors are always available to share their testimony about how faithful God has been to them. They have found that the secret of youth is serving God and others.  Any senior adult is welcome and encouraged to be a part of this ministry.

Sunday School - Sunday morning activities offer times of fellowship, intense Bible Study, and group discussion.  Men's, ladies and couples classes provide a place where lasting friendships are formed.

Travel - As well as attending great Sunday School classes, the Senior Adult ministry travels to exciting destinations.  Activities include but are not limited to:  themed luncheons, Hamrick’s for shopping (spring and fall), Senior Adult Annual Conference in various locations, bi-monthly day trips to north Georgia and surrounding areas, and a Senior Adult Appreciation Dinner. Current event sign-up sheets are on the Senior Adult ministry table located near the Welcome Center.

Goals – The Senior Adult ministries goals include loving and caring about others, and enjoying the many blessings of God.  We will keep learning, encouraging each other and laughing  together. Most importantly we want to keep serving whenever and wherever God calls, always seeking to be obedient to Him.
